Vesilut
Vesilut (Glu-Asp) synthetic bioregulator peptide as per Khavinson Peptides One is the Glu-Asp and it is present in another Khavinson peptide, Prostamax (Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro). There is paucity of research on Vesilut, but since it is similar to Prostamax, it should have potential action on prostatic tissuey and bladder cells. The actions of Vasilut are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immune supporting in their effects, and as a bioregulator which we know as citomedine will be acting by direct interaction with the expression of genes at the cell level.
The function of the urinary bladder is closely associated with the function of surrounding tissues like prostate gland tissues. An increase in prostate tissues could also reduce the activity of bladder tissues. Some sphingosine-metabolizing enzymes, including SKs, may not just be housekeeping enzymes but also are involved in a more selective or regulated vesicular turnover process. This is especially highlighted in the environment related to experimental models of chronic aseptic inflammation in prostate tissues, often leading to swollen and obstructed urinary bladder tissue function. Therefore, researchers have suggested that Vesilut's mechanism of action may be similarto that of other bioregulators and could focus on decreasing cardinal parameters in the cellular levelof chronic inflammation.
The most prominent change noted in the studies was a diminished swelling reported in the experimental prostate tissues. We also hypothesized that inhibiting VCAM-1 upregulation would be achieved by modulating tissue fluid dynamics and cellular components present in the inflamed tissue, resulting in reduced edema. Another possible option how the Vesilut mechanism may work based on related bioregulators data, could be related to the reduction of hyperemia (an increased volume of blood in vessels that supply tissues with nutrition) of vessels providing a prostate gland. The regulation of the blood flow can be associated to a specific effect of the bioregulator on anther part of the vascular system, mainly in the endothellial and smooth muscalure cells, contributing for the normalization of the blood supply and therefore reducing hyperemia. In addition, bioregulators associated with Vesilut may have a probable impact on cellular infiltration (an indicator of immune response and inflammation). These citomedines could maintain the balance of inflammatory response, by regulating immune cell migration and activity therefore potentially avoiding exaggerated cellular infiltration. An important property of the said peptides to Vesilut is their ability to suppress the formation of sclerotic processes. Sclerosis, which is also a thickening and a stiffening of the affected tissue, is believed to frequently arise from prolonged inflammation. A thick and firm prostate will also greatly influence the normal urinary bladder tissue was functioning. Citomedines could regulate some ways leading to fibroblast proliferation and consequently prevent the development of chronic inflammation with progression to sclerosis. However, the study concluded that exposure to bioregulator peptides did seem to help lessen how severe and how inflamed the swelling was, caused less cellular fluid buildup and stopped sclerosal processes from taking place.
